Conca d’Oro is a delightful site with spectacular views across Lake Maggiore to the distant mountains. The first impression is one of spaciousness and colour. There are 50 mobile homes and 22 glamping lodges for rent, the rest of the 242 grass plots provide good sized touring pitches. All have 6A electrical connections, some have shade and many have spectacular views, especially at night. The land slopes gently down to a fine sandy beach. An attractive terraced restaurant serves a range of regional dishes and there is a pleasant bar and pizzeria plus a well-stocked shop. The owners are sure to give you a warm welcome.

The site is close to the lakeside town of Baveno from where boat trips are available to the three small islands on this part of Lake Maggiore. Fishing is possible from the beach at the site (only in evenings, licence required), with sailing and other watersports available. There are nature reserves nearby and drives out into the surrounding mountains provide opportunities for walkers, cyclists and climbers. In 2019 Camping Miralago (IT62464) and Camping Holiday (IT62463) merged with Camping Conca d’Oro.

Three toilet blocks provide all necessary facilities kept in immaculate condition, including controllable showers and open style washbasins; some toilets with washbasins. En-suite accessible unit. Laundry room. Motorhome services. Bar, restaurant, pizzeria and shop. Swimming, fishing and boat launching from beach. Bicycle hire. Dogs must be pre-booked and are not allowed 5/7-22/8. WiFi over site (charged).

Directions to Conca d’Oro Camping & Lodge

Baveno is 90 km. northwest of Milan on the western shore of Lake Maggiore. Site is off the SS33 road between Baveno and Fondotoce di Verbania, 1 km. south of the junction with the SS34 and is well signed.
