Within easy walking distance of Cheddar village, this is an adult only (over 18 yrs) park. A compact site, there are 65 pitches, mostly on level grass, with 40 electricity hook-ups (16A) and 35 gravel hardstandings. A separate area for 20 tents is on the river bank, with its own toilet facilities. Ten caravan holiday homes are now also available to rent. Reception keeps basic supplies and gas cylinders. Cream teas are available (which you prepare yourself) and profits go to charity. Note: the site access is over a fairly narrow bridge with low stone walls, passable for double-axle caravans, but more difficult for very large motorhomes.

Cheddar village has two good supermarkets with ATM, a garage, pubs, restaurants and a leisure centre with an indoor pool. Cheddar Gorge is easily accessed on foot, without the difficulty and expense of parking a vehicle in the Gorge itself. Further opportunities for walking include the nearby Mendips. Weston-super-Mare, Wells and Glastonbury are all within 20 minutes by car.

Heated sanitary block (close to site entrance, some distance from most of the pitches) with washbasins in cubicles, large showers, and family bathroom with shower over the bath. Accessible sanitary facilities, Utility room with sinks, washing machine and dryer. Hot water is restricted to 07.00-12.00 and 16.00-21.00. Fishing. WiFi over part of site (charged).
