Chacewater Park is a large peaceful site set in the beautiful Cornish countryside and makes an idea place to relax yet is just five miles from Truro and the site makes an ideal location for touring Cornwall.

The Horton family now owns this site, and they have commenced a programme of improvements; all pitches now have E.H.U and are metered; you will receive a £10.00 credit when you check in additional charges are per k.w hour (please check at the time of booking k.w rate). It provides 100-level touring pitches - only two persons per pitch are allowed. They are set in two large fields(slight slope) edged with trees or in small bays formed by hedges. There are 29 serviced pitches (electricity, water and drainage connections) and an area for dog owners. Please note this is now an Adult only site. Wi-Fi across the site is free for the whole of your stay.

Reception is located at the site's far end, is signposted, and contains a well-stocked shop, information centre and book lending library. The site is level and easy to negotiate; both facilities blocks have self-assisted spacious rooms with toilets, showers and a vanity basin for visitors with mobility issues. Facilities in both blocks were modern and spotless.

Please follow the clear directions given to you by the site when booking or on the Alan Rogers web page to ensure easy access and to avoid several single track roads - Do Not Rely On Sat Nav. Truro is only five miles and there is a good choice of beaches, north and south, within five to ten miles. A bus stop is only 100 yards from the park entrance.

Facilities at Chacewater Park

The main toilet block provides well equipped showers and two en-suite accessible units. Laundry room. Second fully equipped block near reception providing roomy showers open direct to outside. Gas supplies. Icepack service. Library and small shop in reception. Only adults are accepted. WiFi (charged). Pets allowed.

Directions to Chacewater Park

Site is 5.5 miles west of Truro. From A30 28 miles west of Bodmin take A3047 (Scorrier), continue to roundabout and take left towards St Day. After 500 yds. turn right at crossroads onto B3298 (St Day) and continue for 1 mile. Turn left at the crossroads and continue for 0.75 miles, then left at crossroads with blue camping sign (by Truro Tractors). Chacewater Park is the next right.
