Camping Vinkenhof is a semi-rural site located at the edge of Schin Op Geul village in the attractive hilly countryside of southern Limburg. The 120 touring pitches are numbered but not delineated. Pitches are of a good size and 120 have 6/10A electricity. There is a choice of sunny or shady pitches. A number of comfort pitches are also available. These have 10A electricity, water and drainage. Leisure facilities include a heated swimming pool and a sports field. The region of which Camping Vinkenhof forms a part is delightful with a great wealth of walking and cycling opportunities close at hand.

The little village of Schin op Geul lies to the southeast and has many traditional half-timbered buildings. Valkenburg is 3 km. distant and is well worth a visit. There are imposing castle ruins here and a number of ancient buildings. Maastricht is of great interest with its old city centre reflecting 20 centuries of history.

Two toilet blocks, one in a new prefabricated unit with all facilities. Laundry facilities. Motorhome services. Busy bar/restaurant with pleasant terrace (1/4-1/10, also open to non-residents). Heated outdoor swimming pool (1/5-15/9). Play area. Sports field. Entertainment and activity programme. WiFi throughout. Six mobile homes/chalets to rent.

Directions to Camping Vinkenhof

Head east from Maastricht on A79 and leave at exit 4. Follow signs to Valkenburg on N29 and then take the eastbound N595 to Oud Valkenburg and Schin op Geul. From here follow signs to the site.
