Rais Gerbi provides very good quality camping, with excellent facilities, on the beautiful Tyrrhenian coast, not far from Cefalu. This attractive terraced campsite is shaded by well-established trees, and the 216 good-sized touring pitches (6A electricity) vary from informal areas under the trees near the sea to gravel terraces and hardstandings. Most have stunning views, many with their own sinks and with some artificial shade to supplement the trees.

From the mobile homes to the unusual white igloos, everything here is being established to a high quality. The large pool with its entertainment area and the restaurant, like so much of the site, overlooks the beautiful rocky coastline and aquamarine sea.

The site has been developing for many years and is continually upgrading and improving the resort-style facilities. It now produces more than 50% green energy, and solar panels provide all the hot water to the sanitary blocks. Budget airlines fly into a nearby airport and it is possible to rent tents and other accommodation on site. Rais Gerbi is of special interest to fishermen - a local guide service is dedicated to sport fishing (sea and freshwater), even traditional squid fishing is available. Although the local railway line is close to the site, there is surprisingly little noise. Try to visit in spring and autumn when the weather is usually perfect and the site is less busy.

Entertainment area and pool near the sea. Tennis. WiFi over site (charged). High-quality accommodation and tents for rent. Rocky beach on the site. The small village of Finale is 500 m from site, and here you will find shops, a bank, a post office, a pharmacy and a doctor. Dogs are not accepted in August.

Site is on the SS113 running along the northeast coast of the island, km. 172.9 just west of the village of Finale (the turn into site is at end of the bridge on the outskirts of the village). It is 12 km. east of Cefalu and 11 km. north of Pollina.
