Camping Uit en Thuis (home and away) is a friendly, family run site close to the town of Bergen op Zoom. There is a choice of 80 sunny or shady touring pitches including eight with hardstanding. Most pitches have electricity (6A), water, drainage and cable TV connections. A number of fully equipped mobile homes are available for rent, as well as a simply furnished hikers’ cabin (maximum three nights). There are also several pitches for cycle campers. On-site amenities include a popular snack bar/restaurant which specialises in traditional Dutch cuisine (including frikandels and various schnitzels).

Bergen op Zoom is a pleasant Burgundian town which was granted city status in 1266. It is a delightful place to explore with numerous historic buildings, many surrounding the Grote Markt, including the Markiezenhof Palace which is now home to the city’s cultural centre. The city borders the Binnenschelde Lake, popular for windsurfing and other watersports. Further afield, the surrounding Brabant countryside offers some excellent opportunities for walking and cycling.

Three clean, modern toilet blocks have family showers, hot water (on payment) and dishwashing sinks. One block has accessible facilities and a small laundry. Shop, café/snack bar/takeaway (all season). Half-size billiard tables. Play area. Football pitch. Tennis. Volleyball. Minigolf. Activities for children up to 12 yrs. (high season). Bicycle hire. WiFi throughout (charged).

Directions to Camping Uit en Thuis

Approaching from the south (Antwerp) use A4 motorway as far as the Bergen op Zoom exit and then follow signs to the Binnenschelde and campsite.
