This area was once a forest surrounding the attractive medieval Tuscan village of Montopoli. Toscana Village has been thoughtfully carved out of the hillside under mature pines and it is ideal for a sightseeing holiday in this central and peaceful area.

The 135 level pitches (some large) are on shaded terraces and are carefully maintained. All pitches have 6A electricity. The amenities are centrally located close to the top of the hill in a pleasant modern building.

English is spoken by the helpful reception staff who also organise a programme of visits and events. The restaurant has a terrace where there are views of the surrounding countryside.

The unusually shaped pool is in a separate area at the highest point of the site and will be a welcome break after touring the sights in Pisa, Florence and Lucca. This is an attractive site tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Two modern and clean toilet blocks have quality facilities including British style toilets, hot water at all the stylish sinks, private cabins plus two large en-suite cubicles. Accessible Facilities. Washing machines and dryer. Motorhome services. Shop (bread to order), restaurant, pizzeria/barbecue (grill night on Saturdays), takeaway (all seasonal). Swimming pool (June-Sept). Play area. Bicycle hire. Organised activities and tours. Torches useful. WiFi over site (charged).

Directions to Camping Toscana Village

From A12 (Genova-Florence) take Pisa Centro exit. Take F1,P1,L1 and then Montopoli exit. Follow signs to Montopoli village. Look for cemetery on right. Opposite is Via Masoria leading to Via Fornoli and site. Note: follow brown signs to site; ignore sat nav now, which will try to direct you through a prohibited area.
