Close to the marine city of Den Helder and about 600 m. from a wide, sandy beach is Camping ’t Noorder Sandt. Adjacent to the site is the Duinvliet, a route for hikers, cyclists and horse riders – you can even do the route in a canoe! Some 180 open and shady touring pitches are available here. They are comfortable and are all equipped with 10A electricity; 60 also have water, drainage and cable connections.
Also worth noting is the friendly atmosphere and well-maintained sanitary facilities. For many, the site’s main attraction is its pool complex. In the early mornings, it is only open for older people to start the day, and after 10 a.m. it is open to all. Clean air, space and relaxation are only a few of the site’s advantages.
You could go for a walk on the Wad, try a spot of sea fishing, or take an excursion to one of the Dutch islands. The site is not far from the famous city of Alkmaar with its cheese market, and the Dutch capital of Amsterdam. Member of the Ardoer group.
