Camping Sikia is an attractive, well maintained site enthusiastically run by the Pandeli family. The site offers 120 pitches of varying sizes all with 16A electricity. They are arranged on terraces and may become quite dusty during the dry season, but most are well shaded by olive trees. There are superb views from many pitches – the sea to the south and the mountains to the north. Rental accommodation is also available. The calm sea and golden beaches of the Pagasitikos Gulf make this a perfect spot for family holidays. The site is just 100 m. from a sand and shingle beach on the edge of a rocky bay.

This is ideal for swimming and snorkelling. At weekends it is possible to take the train up into the Mount Pelion to explore the picturesque villages of the region. Once the summer residence of the gods of Olympus, Pelion now welcomes hikers, mountain bikers and climbers. Accessible Facilities have been improved.

Two modern and one refurbished sanitary blocks with British style WCs, open washbasins and preset showers. Separate accessible facilities. Laundry area with sinks, washing machines and ironing facilities. Shop. Bar. TV room. Restaurant. Communal barbecue areas. Fishing. Dogs are not allowed on the beach. Internet corner. WiFi throughout (free).

Directions to Camping Sikia

Follow E75 south towards Lamia, turn left at sign for Volos onto E92. Follow coastal road towards Argalasti for 18 km. Site is off the coastal road on the right at Kato Gatzea immediately past Camping Hellas.
