Camping Romantica is a tranquil site with some lakeside pitches that have beautiful views across the lake to the mountains. The glittering lights across the lake at night are quite romantic and it is a pleasure to sit out and enjoy balmy summer evenings here. The 280 pitches are of 70-80 sq.m, mostly on grass and with tarmac access roads, many having shade. The lake is accessed through a security fence and across a public promenade. It is great here for swimming, watersports and boat launching. A stylish, bistro style restaurant is situated at the front of the site serving good food in a very attractive, modern setting.

The restaurant is used by campers and locals because of the quality and good value. This is a site for those who enjoy camping with good supporting facilities in a quiet family setting. The friendly director, Sabrina, speaks excellent English and Dutch. The apartments and chalets are away from the main camping area and do not encroach. Many guests at Romantica return year after year and it easy to understand why.

Facilities at Camping Romantica

Seven toilet blocks, all clean and pleasant with mixed British and squat style WCs and very good, spacious showers. Accessible facilities. Washing machines. Quality restaurant and bar with large terrace. Large supermarket and bazaar. Play areas. Boat parking and launching. Watersports. WiFi on part of site (charged). No electric barbecues. Torches useful.

Directions to Camping Romantica

Site is on the western side of Lake Garda near the town of Manerba. From the E70 east of Brescia, take Desenzano exit and turn north for Salò on P572. Then take road to Manerba di Garda and site is well signed.
