Camping Ria de Arosa 2 is an open all-year site in a relatively unknown but magnificent nature area in north-western Spain on the green Barbanza peninsula. Galicia is, however, being discovered by an increasing number of visitors, so it's worth visiting whilst the area is relatively untouched. The campsite boasts stunning scenery with the Ría de Arosa estuary as its backdrop. Lush greenery and rolling hills surround the grounds, offering a sense of tranquillity and immersion in nature. The site has 300 pitches, of which 260 are for touring units, and it has a 10-amp hook-up point. There are also 18 chalets available to hire.

Adjacent to the two swimming pools, one being a children 's pool, is the Cascada restaurant with a terrace overlooking the swimming pools. You can enjoy freshly brewed coffee and a delicious breakfast every morning. They offer various dishes from lunchtime onwards, ranging from hamburgers to regional specialities. For those who like a less leisurely pace of life whilst holidaying abroad, the campsite has a football pitch and table tennis table. A small supermarket is open during high season and provides everything you need to cook at your pitch; you will find a wide selection of fresh fruits and vegetables, bread and pastries, beverages and snacks.

National Park Currubedo is a place that warrants a visit from everyone. Amidst the quiet sand is a 15m high dune with a length of a thousand metres. The beautiful beach can be accessed from the visitor's centre. A wooden walkway leads you past the most beautiful spots in this exceptional piece of nature.

This area, slightly north of the charming fishing village of Ribeira, is eminently suitable for short and long walking trips. The world-famous pilgrimage destination Santiago de Compostela is less than an hour's drive away.
