The Poros Beach Camping and Bungalows is a resort located in the southern part of the island of Lefkada. It is built on the side of a hill and is 60-150m away from the beach. The site is at the end of a steep, winding, narrow lane (3 km long with ten hairpin bends). The owners have made a massive investment in building apartments to rent at the top of the site. Here, you will find the on-site facilities, which include the reception and a small shop where bread and croissants are delivered daily.

An outdoor swimming pool and a traditional taverna serve local dishes and traditional Greek cuisine. The renovations, however, have been at the expense of access to the campsite, which is 40 meters lower down the hill at beach level. There are 53 pitches for touring units, set amongst olive and pine trees. Using the site’s internal road for vehicles is now almost impossible, so having stopped at reception, you continue down the hill to a second entrance.

Sanitary facilities include hot showers, vanity-style washbasins and WCs. Laundry facilities. Shop, bar and restaurant at the higher level. Swimming pool (High season). Communal barbecue area. Some WiFi access.

Directions to Camping Poros Beach

From Lefkada take main road south towards and through Nidri. After climbing long hill, turn left, signed Poros. After 2 km. fork right down a narrow winding lane towards the site (3 km. long and ten hairpin bends – meeting oncoming traffic is a bit of a problem!)
