Based on a working farm, Camping Olachgut is located in the Murau-Kreischberg region of Austria. At reception English is spoken and ample parking allows for an easy check-in. The site has two section seasonal residents pitches with mobile homes to rent, and 120 touring 60 with 16 amp hook-up , three have private sanitary facilities.

The site is family run and very family orientated, the main attraction being the Stable’s with on-site dressage area, lessons are available from beginners and to those more experienced wanting to improve there riding skills. There is an unsupervised large pond for swimming as well as a playground and soccer pitch. Sanitary facilities at this site are new and excellent. The site is especially suited to those requiring accessible accommodation with adapted bathing facilities and accommodation available.

A railway line runs adjacent to the site but this causes little disturbance due to the infrequency of train’s.

There is a packed programme of activities for the children during the summer, from torch-lit hikes to archery to a skateboard ramp. Cycling and hiking, and skiing are also very popular in this area. On-site, there is a Bar/Restaurant with outside seating, and entertainment is organised during the summer evenings. The owners also produce their own excellent local honey, which is sold in the shop. A supermarket is a short drive away in Kaindorf Nord.

Via Munich or Salzburg, take the Tauernautobahn to St. Michael / Lungau (or Radstätter Tauernpass), branch off to Tamsweg, direction Murau.
