The Nidos campsite is located on the small stretch of land that connects Lithuania with a part of the Russian Federation. There are 100 pitches, all for touring units and all with 6/10A electricity. Most are on hardstanding, some made of concrete, some in small, rocky bays. This means there is little room to use awnings, although there is space between the trees to put up small tents. The site has a very welcoming ambiance and there is a covered swimming pool and a restaurant (housed in reception) which provides good quality meals. Popular with local people and German, Dutch and Scandinavian campers, in high season the site can become busy.

The whole peninsula is designated as a National Park and is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Close to the site is the beautiful dune landscape of the 52-metre high Parnidzio Dune from where there are wonderful views of the Curonian Lagoon, across the Lagoon to Ventspils and Russia. The site is about 2 km. from the ancient town of Nida.

Refurbished toilet facilities to the back of reception consist of British style toilets, open washbasins and hot showers . Laundry with sinks, washing machines and dryer. Sauna. Campers’ kitchen. Bar/restaurant (all year). Covered swimming pool (8x4 m, all year). Tennis Court. Bicycle hire. Water sports. Giant chess. Playground. Fishing trips, riding, folklore and jazz evenings and excursions organised. Beach within walking distance.

Directions to Camping Nidos

From Klaipeda take the ferry onto the Neringa peninsula and drive south on the 167 road towards Nida. From Nida follow site signs.
