Monti del Sole is a very friendly site situated in woodland, just 5 km. from the medieval town of Narni. Alfredo Petrini and his delightful daughter, Angela-Rose, will give you a very warm welcome. There are 80 pitches of various sizes, all with 6A electricity and most well shaded and grassy. A small shop sells basics and a bar/restaurant offers pleasant local cuisine. The swimming pools are attractive. Prices here are reasonable but the facilities are fairly limited. This is a quiet, unsophisticated site that will suit those looking for peaceful surroundings. The town of Narni has much of interest, especially the underground rooms beneath the old monastery of San Domenico which include a cell used by the Inquisition and decorated with prisoners’ graffiti.

Directions to Camping Monti del Sole

From A1 (Rome-Florence-Milan) autostrada take Malian Sabina exit. Follow signs to Narni. Site is on Borgaria road, 800 m. off the SS3, and is well signed.
