With panoramic views all around the Sierra de Valdefuertes mountains, Camping El Mirador de Cabañeros is set in the Cabañeros National Park. This is a well-cared-for, landscaped site with 44 terraced pitches on gravel, all with 6A electricity. Although pitches are level once sited, the approach is steep, which may cause difficulties for larger units.

Run by an accommodating and friendly family, this site is in a very peaceful location where you can sit and relax or visit the many attractions the National Park offers. It is an ideal base for walking and birdwatching. The roads to the site have spectacular scenery but are narrow, twisting, and not well-surfaced in parts, so it is best to take it slowly and enjoy the journey.

Much has been done in recent years to make the flora and fauna of the Parque Nacional de Cabañeros accessible. There are many marked walking trails, and Horcajo has a comprehensive information centre where you can book 4X4 safaris and guided walks. This small and pleasant town below the site offers a range of shops, bars and restaurants.

Bar and restaurant (High season, w/ends in low season). Covered swimming pool (all year). Games room. Creative crafts during high season, Play areas. Multisport pitch, table tennis, Outside fitness area. WiFi. Pets allowed.

Directions to Camping Mirador de Cabañeros

From Toledo take CM4013 to Las Ventas con Pena Aguilera and then CM403 to El Molinillo. Turn west onto CM4017 to Horcajo de Los Montes. Through village on CM4016 towards Alcoba de Los Montes for 2 km. and site is on left (narrow approach). From Cuidad Real take CM412 to Porzuna then 2 km. further on take road to El Robledo and Horcajo.
