Kromivodo is a small campsite and guest house on the edge of a village in the foothills of the Pirin Mountain range, a protected area of outstanding natural beauty in south-west Bulgaria. Close to the Greek border and under 4 km. from the E79 Sofia to Greece highway, this is a very relaxing place to stay with friendly and helpful hosts. There are 12 pitches at this developing site, catering for tents, caravans and motorhomes, with some tents for hire as well as bed and breakfast in the house.

There are many opportunities locally for nature pursuits including walking, trekking, cycling, mountain biking, rafting, fishing and bird watching. The area is renowned for the quality of the wine produced, and there are vineyard tours and tastings, and numerous cultural and heritage sites to visit. Kromidovo is a small peaceful village with shops for basic provisions and also a couple of bars. There is a 25 m. mineral spring swimming pool, with snack bar, open June to September, a 2 minute walk from the campsite.

Directions to Camping Kromidovo

Leave E79 10 km. north of the border with Greece (approx. 175 km south of Sofia) and follow signs towards Katuntsi. Pass through 2 villages. Follow signs for Orbelus Winery. At third village turn right just before sharp bend. Follow road through village watching out for speed bumps. Turn left just before the Mineral pool. Site is at top of this street on the left.
