This small site is ideally placed for those wanting a night stop when travelling on the Salzburg-Badgastein road, but could also make a base for seeing this interesting area of mountains, lakes, salt mines, ice caves and famous towns. The flat, open site lies behind the Gasthof Hirschenwirt, with just 60 (100 sq.m) pitches on grass on either side of gravel roads. All have access to electricity and cable TV connections. This mountain area has cycle and mountain bike tracks and sporting opportunities locally include rafting, riding or paragliding. Being on a major road route there is traffic noise and the site is also close to a railway line, power station and other works.
