Camping de Zwaluw is near the wide sandy beaches of the North Sea, only 7 km from Den Helder. It is a small site with 70 flat and grassy touring pitches, 10/16 amp electric hook-up point and without shade. The children’s play area has an air trampoline, slides and climbing frames and there's a playhouse for the little ones next to the reception. The site has 70 bungalows, log cabins and apartments of which 10 are available to hire. It's a simple layout and the huge beach is the key attraction of course.

This is an ideal base for excursions in the area and is located on the boundary of a vast nature reserve with wide beaches. The beach is only a 5 minute walk from the campsite gates, along a path through the sand dunes. As you drive to the site you will pass the vast tulip fields and cross dunes. Driving past the multi coloured fields in spring is a glorious sight and at times the scent of hyacinths wafts across the site.

Two toilet blocks provide showers, wash basins and WCs. Baby room. Accessible facilities. Laundry with washing machine and dryer. Chemical toilet point. Dishwashing area. Motorhome service point.
