Camping Calypso is a simple family run site, situated beside the Ionian Sea and with direct access to long, sandy beaches. There are 96 pitches available for touring on level hardstandings with 3A electricity and some have wonderful views. Good shade is provided by mature trees. On-site facilities include a traditional and very pleasant bar, a restaurant and pizza takeaway. A large amphitheatre provides a stage for entertainment in high season and Hawaiian nights are organised on the beach. This site is perfectly located for a relaxing holiday with the added advantage of excellent sightseeing if you wish.

If you are feeling energetic, there are hiking trails to the waterfalls in Marmarico. Within 20 km. are the Greek excavations at Monasterace.

Facilities at Camping Calypso

One large, central and clean sanitary block with mostly British style WCs. Coin operated showers in small cubicles. Cold water only to open style washbasins. Baby room. Laundry facilities. Good motorhome service point. Pizza takeaway (wood fired oven), traditional bar and restaurant (15/5-5/9). Beach bar. Play area. Entertainment in high season. WiFi throughout.

Directions to Camping Calypso

From autostrada, exit (Rosarno) and head east towards Siderno. Take SS106 north to Marina di Caulonia. Site clearly signed 1 km. north of town.
