Camping Berceo would suit those looking for a quiet break in the Spanish countryside. It sits low in the San Millán valley in the heart of the Sierra de la Demanda and a steep walk of about 20 minutes will take you into the village. Here you will find several bars and restaurants, but little English is spoken. The 40 touring pitches are varied in size and separated by hedges. Most have shade and there are impressive views of the surrounding mountains. An attractive swimming pool area is open in peak season and there is an accommodating, all year round restaurant and bar.

The site is located at the edge of the village and surrounded by outstanding countryside of mountains and vineyards. There is a strong Spanish feel with 60% of the site being used by Spanish weekenders with permanent pitches. These are well integrated into the site which has a friendly ambience. Unusually for sites in this area Camping Berceo is open all year and has a year-round attractive restaurant and bar area with a terrace looking out over the pool with its spacious and verdant surroundings. Whilst there is some public transport, your own transport is advisable given the isolation of both the site and the village.

Directions to Camping Berceo

From A68 head west until N120 exit. Turn left onto N120 signed Najera. Turn left onto LR113 (Bobadilla). Within 5 km. turn right onto 205 (Cárdenas) until Berceo village. In village centre follow site sign down hill. Site is on left within 500 m.
