Alan Rogers Review of Camping Arvier
The small but rustic Camping Arvier is located in the Aosta Valley. Located in the rugged mountain landscape on the edge of the Gran Paradiso National Park, it is a camping destination for lovers of walking, mountain biking and nature. The hiking routes take you into the national park, past lush greenery, deep gorges, and gently lapping mountain streams. Yet another exciting activity to indulge in is rafting on calm or wild rivers.
The terrace shaped terrain of the camping site is a well-maintained lawn. Here you will find both pitches under tall trees and pitches with less shade. The camping pitches are not clearly numbered, so you have to establish your own pitch around the power poles.
The campsite has an outdoor swimming pool; the swimming pool is small but well maintained. There is also ample space to soak up the sun on the lawn. Please note that the swimming pool has restricted opening hours during the low season. Bathing caps are compulsory.
Camping site Arvier is situated on the outskirts of the village of the same name, and therefore restaurants and shops are close by. Venture also on exciting activities such as rafting or take a relaxing trip to the capital of Aosta.

Directions to Camping Arvier
Follow the SS26 Aosta-Courmayeur. Go almost completely round the roundabout at the end of Arvier and turn sharp right. Campsite signposted.
