Buitengoed De Boomgaard is a campsite and recreational area in Bunnik, Netherlands, just outside Utrecht. It is a popular destination for families and groups looking to enjoy the outdoors. Buitengoed de Boomgaard has a variety of camping pitches to suit all needs. There are 127 touring pitches available with electric hook-up points, some with private toilets and shower facilities. 

There is plenty to do at Buitengoed de Boomgaard, both on and off the campsite. On-site activities include swimming at the campsite swimming pond. There are plenty of activities to get involved in, such as stand-up and boarding, swimming and  there is even a zip line that runs over the water, perfect for the adventurous who enjoy jumping into the water. There is a sizeable outdoor playground with various play equipment, including a trampoline and bounce pad, swings, and an adventure trail. A mini golf course can also be found on-site for the whole family to enjoy. A recreation team organises activities for children during the summer months, such as treasure hunts. Regular entertainment is also held at the campsite restaurant, which includes themed dinners. 

Visit Kasteel Rhijnauwen, a castle dating back to the 14th century. It is open to the public for tours and offers beautiful views of the surrounding area. Explore the Waterliniemuseum Fort bij Vechten, a museum that tells the story of the New Dutch Water Line, a series of fortifications built in the 19th and 20th centuries to defend the Netherlands from attack. Take a walk or bike ride in Amelisweerd, a large park with forests, meadows, and canals.
