This is very much a family site with a great range of facilities provided. It is well organised and laid out, set in an elevated position in attractive, undulating countryside. A tarmac road runs around the site with around 450 large grass pitches (Appx. 120 for touring); almost all pitches have electricity, either 10A or 16A, some slightly sloping, many with a fair amount of shade on either side of gravel access roads in straight rows and circles.

The main activities take place adjacent to the large, circular, all-weather family pool. There is also an outdoor pool in the high season, and the covered one is heated in cooler weather. Several play areas are dotted all over the site, including mini golf, tennis courts and a multisport pitch. Entertainment for children is arranged in high season, from mini discos and creative crafts for the younger campers and a junior club where a programme of sports tournaments are arranged during the day. There's also a programme of fitness activities for adults, including aqua aerobics, and live shows and musicals are performed in the evenings.

There are many options for dining here with a restaurant and pizzeria, a pool bar and an ice cream shop. The entrance to the site has been made vehicle-free (vehicle entrance is on a separate road) and provides a pleasant terrace and shopping area. Seven serviced, overnight motorhome pitches are provided in the car park area. Throughout the site, all signage is in four languages including English.

Directions to Birkelt Village

From N7 (Diekirch-Luxembourg City), turn onto N8 (CR118) at Berschblach (just past Mersch) towards Larochette. Site is signed on the right 1.5 km. from Larochette. Approach road is fairly steep and narrow.
