Zeven Linden was created in 1938 and since then has been a popular site for those seeking a peaceful holiday in a natural setting. There are 261 spacious touring pitches (6-10A electricity), some shaded by trees, and spread over 13 separate fields. Unusually, the whole area is car free, which goes a long way to ensuring peace and quiet, as well as improving safety for children around the site. The site is located on the northern fringe of the Utrechtse Heuvelrug, a heavily forested area. Within walking distance you can visit Drakensteyn castle, Soestdijk palace and the beautiful village of Lage Vuursche. Pitches are large and grassy, mostly with electrical connections.

The Utrechtse Heuvelrug stretches from Baarn in the north to Rhenen, its most southerly point. Much of the forest has been designated a national park. Explorations by bicycle, on horseback or by foot are all popular. Well marked trails lead through a variety of different kinds of landscape including moorland, meadows, woodland and open fields.

Approaching from the west, site is well signed from the N415 Hilversum-Baarn road shortly before reaching the intersection with the N221.
