Camping la Ferme de Lann-Hoëdic is an attractively landscaped site with many flowering shrubs and trees. The 108 touring pitches, all with 10A electricity, are large and mostly level with mature trees which offer some shade. The 20 pitches with mobile homes are in a separate area. The working farm produces cereal crops and the summer months are an exciting time for children to see the harvest in progress. The owners go out of their way to make this a welcoming and happy place to stay. Located in the countryside on the Rhuys Peninsula, Golfe du Morbihan, it is an ideal base for cycling, walking and water-based activities.
Located close to the Morbihan gulf, Yelloh! Village Mané Guernehué is a smart, modern site with excellent amenities, including an equestrian centre and a variety of pitches. Some are terraced beneath pine trees, others in a former orchard with delightful views of the surrounding countryside.
Situated just 3 km. from Carnac, this is a well maintained and well organised large, village-style site with 316 mobile homes and chalets for hire and eight pitches available for touring. The pitches are well set out in small separate areas with plenty of established trees and shrubs, but this is essentially a mobile home park. With the all-singing, all-dancing facilities you usually find on this type of site, it is a good choice for families who are looking for an action-packed holiday. The modern reception has information about this beautiful part of Brittany, the staff are very helpful and English is spoken. A free bus and the tourist mini-train both stop at the gate to take you into town. All kinds of entertainment and activities are organised in high season.
Camping Ker Eden is a family-friendly campsite situated directly on the waterfront in Larmor-Baden, France. It boasts a peaceful and green location within the Gulf of Morbihan Natural Park, offering campers direct access to a sandy beach with a footpath leading right to it with No roads to cross. This site is perfect for families looking for a holiday where they can enjoy plenty of beach activities. On-site, 110 touring pitches including 77 camping pitches with electrical hook-up points and 33 mobile homes or tent lodge. Surrounded by mature trees, giving plenty of shade during the summer. The eco-responsible and nature-oriented campsite makes efforts in terms of quality of services, with a low impact on the environment, thanks to the constant attention and concrete actions aimed at reducing water and energy consumption.
L’Océan is a member of the Flower group and can be found just 100 m. from the nearest beach, halfway down the Quiberon peninsula. There are 267 sandy pitches which are generally level and well shaded, although some sunnier pitches are also available. A selection of mobile homes and fully equipped tents are to rent. In peak season, a varied entertainment programme is on offer, including traditional Celtic folk evenings and magic shows, as well as discos and concerts. The site’s bar/restaurant,‘Ty Mouss’, is the focal point and specialises in pizzas and crêpes, as well as other light meals. In low season, these facilities are unavailable.
The Camping Belle Plage is situated with direct access to a clean, sheltered, sandy beach on the perennially popular Morbihan peninsula. There are 79 grassy touring pitches (80m²), some with shade and in pairs. Ten of the pitches (100m²) have a private water tap. All pitches have 10A electricity connection (EU plug). A short walk around the bay leads to the village of Lomener, with shops, restaurants, a pharmacy and a bank, while it is just a short journey to the attractive old town of Ploemeur. A bus service from outside the gate runs to Ploemeur and Lorient, useful for those with motorhomes.
The Carnac and La Trinité area of Brittany is popular with British holidaymakers. Camping de la Plage is a well established site with direct access to the safe, sandy beach of Kervillen Plage. There are 195 grass pitches, some of which are used by tour operators and others occupied by mobile homes (available to rent), but many are available for touring. Pitches are all hedged and of a good size (100 sq.m) and have 6/10A electricity, water and drainage. The site has a slight slope and a few pitches reflect this. With narrow roads and sharp bends, La Plage may not be suitable for larger units.
Located close to the famous standing stones, menhirs and dolmens of Carnac, Les Pirates de Carnac is ideal for discovering this beautiful region, which is rich in history. The site has 118 touring pitches, many with shade and with reasonable privacy. Children are catered for with a small playground, animal park, maze and children's club in the high season. Swimmers can enjoy the heated pool or relax in the sauna or whirlpool. The small bar and restaurant are open daily in the high season and serve honest food including mussels and pancakes.
This is a long established campsite that offers a variety of well cared for pitches (48 for tourers, all with 16A electricity). Most are shaded by mature trees and, unusually, some are triangular in shape. Access could be tricky for larger units. The toilet facilities have been refurbished to a very high standard, complete with soft music and potted plants. A comfortable lounge contains a small library, board games and a television. The site’s pool complex is impressive with a heated, covered pool, an open pool with slides and a paddling pool. Many sporting facilities are provided, and in high season there is entertainment and activities for children.
Le Manoir de Ker An Poul has an attractive location, close to the sea (700 metres) in the southern Morbihan region. The old manor house is charming and the site has been developed in the grounds. This is quite a large site with around 299 pitches, around half of which are occupied by mobile homes and chalets. There is a large indoor and outdoor pool complex. Many activities are on offer in high season, including evening entertainment and a club for children.
Fort Espagnol can be found close to the village of Crac’h, with easy access to the Morbihan Gulf. 50 touring pitches vary in size and are in a wooded setting, most have electrical connections (10A). A number of mobile homes, chalets and safari-style tents are available to rent. There is an impressive lagoon-style swimming pool complex, featuring a number of slides and other water features. There is also a heated, indoor pool. Other amenities include a small shop and snack bar. Various activities are organised during July and August, including dances, karaoke, and numerous sports competitions. A free shuttle bus to the beach is available daily.
The site is approximately 21 miles from La Baule and 21 miles from Vannes, just 6 km from the coast; this makes it an ideal location for touring Southern Brittany and the Atlantic Coast. On-site, you will find a selection of Mobile Homes to hire and 40 well-spaced touring pitches set in a wooded area offering good shade if required. This is a peaceful site set in delightful countryside, yet it offers modern facilities with a heated Swimming Pool that seems to be in the Sun most of the day. An onsite shop offers local wine, produce, and honey produced on-site by the owner's bees. On-site, you will find laundry facilities, a modern toilet block, a children’s play area, and a large indoor arena for a larger gathering or, if the weather is wet, a barbecue and bar area.
Nestled in the heart of the Bay of Quiberon, close to the beach and marina, the campsite has a wellness area and a heated covered pool with sauna and jacuzzi, wellness, water play areas for children, water slides and sports field. The campsite maintains a quiet rural atmosphere, enriched with native plants and ample shade provided by the trees. At its heart lies a vibrant entertainment area where guests can enjoy pétanque, badminton, or table tennis or fire up the barbecue. In contrast, the little ones have fun on the trampoline and slide—all within sight for easy supervision.
This site is one of two owned by members of the same family. It is situated on the coast overlooking the safe, sandy beach of Kervillen Plage, with its little rocky outcrops providing a naturally enclosed swimming area. This is a very friendly site, which is ideal for quiet or family holidays in an area with lots of local interest. There are 168 pitches, of which around 50 are used by tour operators. The 92 touring pitches are all of good size, hedged and all have electricity (6/10A) water and drainage. Some shade is provided by mature and maturing trees.
Sites et Paysages Au Gré des Vents is a quiet family site in wooded countryside, 600 m. from the town. Philippe and Benedicte Lambert purchased this neat, tidy and organised site in 2001. There are 85 pitches (66 for tourers, 43 with 6/10A electricity) of reasonable size (80-150 sq.m) on neat grass on two levels. With limited electrical hook-ups, the upper level is flat, and pitches are divided by young shrubs. The lower level is partly sloping with mature trees, shade and electricity on all pitches.
Close to Vannes and the Golfe du Morbihan in southern Brittany, Camping du Haras is a small, family run site in a rural location. There are 140 pitches, in a variety of settings, both open and wooded, the pitches are well kept and of a good size, all with electricity (4-16A) and most with water and drainage. Whilst M. Danard intends keeping the site quiet and in keeping with its rural setting, he provides plenty of activities for lively youngsters, including some organised games and evening parties. Adults will enjoy the new wellness area with indoor pool, spa, sauna and massage facilities.
Situated in a small village just two kilometres from the town of Carnac, this very pleasant site has 97 pitches on level grass, most having high mature hedges that give a good feel of privacy. All have good access to 6/10A electricity, while a further 64 also have water and wastewater. You will receive a very warm welcome from Mme. Simon is in the modern reception building, which is impressive, and registration is dealt with efficiently. This is a lovely base from which to explore the region; the famous megaliths are close by, and the beaches are only 500 m. away. Nearby Carnac offers a good choice of restaurants, bars and shops.
Overlooking the lake and situated between the Morbihan Gulf and the Quiberon peninsula, this site is only 3 km. from the port of La Trinité-sur-Mer while the famous megaliths are even closer. The site is well maintained, with flowering landscaped gardens and mature trees and shrubs, giving plenty of shade and some privacy. The 150 pitches are of various sizes, many providing superb views of the lake; there is good access for larger units.

The name Morbihan means ‘little sea’ and the gulf is just that – almost landlocked by the arms of the Locmariaquer and Rhuys peninsulas. A local saying claims there as many islands in the gulf as there are days in the year, but who’s counting? They all make a wonderful sight, some are inhabited, others are mere reefs, many are pleasantly wooded while some have landing stages with dinghies moored and picnickers ashore.
There’s great potential for touring around this region, with its Mediterranean micro-climate, and any of the minor roads out of Vannes will lead to a tiny harbour and a different aspect on the Gulf. ort Navalo or Auray and they do vary depending on the season and cost so be sure to choose one that will fit in with your itinerary.
