It is a friendly, family run site with 150 large level, grass touring pitches which are sheltered and surrounded by trees and shrubs. Electricity (13A) is available to all pitches, and 15 comfort pitches also have water and drainage.
Rosenvold Strand Camping
Rosenvold Strand Camping is a popular family campsite nestled on the eastern shores of Central Jutland. Overlooking the beautiful Vejle Fjord, the site offers a spacious and well-maintained environment perfect for families. Enjoy building sandcastles on the wide sandy beach or relax on the sun-drenched lawn. For an extra special stay, book a pitch with stunning sea views.
Horsens City Camping ApS
Horsens City Camping is located right on the fjord, near Horsens, on the east coast of Midden-Jutland. As the first campsite in Jutland to receive the prestigious "Green Campsite" eco-label, Horsens City Camping is committed to sustainability and environmental responsibility. The well-maintained grounds feature 237 spacious touring pitches with 10-amp electric hook-up points available. Pitches are bordered by hedges and trees, ensuring privacy and comfort for campers of all ages. Whether you're seeking a quiet retreat, a family-friendly destination, or a stunning fjord view, this campsite has something to offer for everyone.
Camping Løgballe
Løgballe Camping has undergone a continued programme of developments, which has created an open campsite with spacious pitches separated with low planting. The small shop is mainly focussed on treats, rather than essentials, but a nearby (4km) supermarket is available. There is no restaurant on-site, but the owner can point you towards a number of local options. The two simple pools are heated. Mini-golf and a small playground provide entertainment for younger guests. Sports activities are organised throughout the season. On dry evenings snobrød can be cooked over an open campfire.
Camping Trelde Næs
Trelde Næs is a busy and lively site next to a beach accessed via 70 steep, wooden steps. It is one of Denmark’s larger sites with over 500 level and numbered pitches. The 375 touring pitches all have 10A electricity and there are 37 fully serviced pitches with electricity, water, drainage and Internet access. Seasonal units take up the remaining pitches. Pitches are mainly in rows off tarmac access roads on well kept, grassy fields with some shade from bushes at the rear.
Vestbirk Camping
This is a good quality, small family site with 280 pitches (170 for tourers) with the Vestbirk lakes on three sides, where boating (no motor boats or sailing boats), swimming or just relaxing on the beach are possible. Vestbirk has a lovely feel to it, with tall pine trees on the gently undulating site breaking up the views of the lakes. There is a heated swimming pool (16x8 m) with paddling pool and aqua chute. One area of the site has pitches in long lanes off gravel access roads, on fields taking six to ten units, and there is one large field to the right. All the pitches are on grass, with 10A electricity and some of the larger fields are terraced. The groups are separated by high and low bushes.
Fårup Sø Camping
Fårup Sø Camping is a friendly and welcoming family run site next to the beautiful Fårup Lake, a good location for visiting some of Denmark’s best known attractions such as Legoland and the Lion Park. There are 250 grassy pitches, mostly on terraces (from top to bottom the height difference is 53 m). Some have beautiful views of the Fårup Lake. There are 200 pitches for touring units, all with 16A electricity, and some tent pitches without electricity. A heated swimming pool (min. 25°C), a whirlpool (free of charge) and an indoor play area for children are popular, as are the available activities, many associated with the lake.
Kolding City Camp
Dancamps Kolding is on the main 170 road running from Christiansfeld to Kolding, so pitches near the entrance can be a little noisy. Further back, high bushes and trees protect you from the road noise. From the entrance it is only eight minutes by bus to the centre of the historic town of Kolding and, being so close to the city, this campsite does not have many amenities. There are 120 level, grass pitches, all for tourers and all with 6/10A electricity. Pitching is in several broad areas divided by high trees, although the pitches themselves are not separated. Access is off gravel roads.

Jutland

Known as the Land of Light, North Jutland – and in particular the idyllic old fishing village of Skagen – has attracted artists for centuries due to the very special light in the region. Further south, the region has even more to offer: endless, white sandy beaches, surfing, windsurfing or kite-flying; angling, riding, golf, walking; culture, fine art and history appreciation – or just a stroll through one of the many friendly provincial towns.
