Alan Rogers Review
Wooda Farm is spacious and well organised with some nice touches. A quality, family run park, it is part of a working farm set within 40 acres, under 2 miles from the sandy, surfing beaches of Bude. In peaceful farmland with plenty of open spaces (and some up and down walking), there are beautiful views of the sea and countryside.
The 220 large touring pitches are spread over four meadows on level or gently sloping grass. There are 142 with 16 amp electricity connections, and 83 hardstanding, hedged premier pitches (electricity, water, waste water), linked by tarmac roads. A 28-day field with electricity provides extra grass pitches for the peak season. The late arrivals area has electricity. A member of the Green Tourism Scheme and Best of British group. The site is also a member of the Caravan and Motorhome Club Affiliated Site Scheme but visitors who are not members of the club are also very welcome.
Beside the shop and reception at the entrance are 55 caravan holiday homes for let. A takeaway service is available near reception and an attractive courtyard bar and restaurant with home cooking is popular. A few friendly farm animals are popular with children. Tractor and trailer rides, archery and clay pigeon shooting with tuition are provided according to season and demand, plus woodland (find the pixies) and orchard walks and excellent coarse fishing. There is much to do in the area – sandy beaches with coastal walks, and Tintagel with King Arthur’s castle and Clovelly nearby.

Directions
From the M5 at Exeter, take the A30 towards Okehampton. Just past Okehampton at the top of a long hill, take the slip road signposted to Bude and follow signs to the A3072. On reaching a T-junction with the A39 at Stratton, turn right and follow the A39 for 100 metres then turn left. After one mile, there is a crossroads near the village of Poughill (pronounced ‘Poffle’), carry straight on and Wooda Farm Park is 100 metres further on, on the right. Alternatively, leave the M5 at Junction 27 and follow the North Devon Link Road to Barnstaple and Bideford. On the A39, pass through Kilkhampton and after four miles you will see North Cornwall Plumbing Supplies on the right. Take the next right. Drive for one mile past crossroads and Wooda Farm Park is 100 metres further on, on the right. Note: Google Maps and Sat Navs are not always correct; if you are following the instructions travelling South on the A39 (from Barnstaple), please avoid Stone Hill and continue on the A39 south until you see signs for Wooda.
