Alan Rogers Review

This holiday park on the Yorkshire (Humberside) coast and just a short walk from the sea, is primarily dedicated to caravan holiday homes of which 340 are privately owned and 85 are to rent. There are, however, two fields for touring units with some 90 level pitches, all with 16A electricity. A block houses reception (with plenty of tourist information), an extensive electronic games area, a heated and supervised indoor swimming pool and a well appointed bar and restaurant serving a wide variety of reasonably priced food. A full daily programme of games, activities and entertainment is offered for both children and adults.

Just 30 miles up the coast are the attractions of Bridlington, whilst other outings could include Spurn Point, Bempton Cliffs (RSPB), Beverley with its Minster and racecourse, Sewerby Hall and gardens, or the RAF Holmpton bunker tours.

The two toilet blocks provide basic facilities which can be under pressure. Open-style washbasins and pushbutton showers. Limited and basic facilities for disabled visitors. Prefabricated unit in upper field has 6 controllable showers. Good launderette. Well stocked shop. All leisure facilities open all season. Bar also offers a takeaway snack menu. Restaurant. Indoor swimming pool. Bicycle hire. Activities and entertainment arranged.
