Located in the grounds of an elegant country estate, this is a popular park. In an attractive, sheltered area of the parkland, set in the trees, are 95 pitches, 70 with hardstanding and 10/12A electricity. Outside the peak season, the site may not be fully open, and some facilities, such as the bar and café, may not be available.

Westport House, an 18th-century historic home with original architecture, antiques and art, is on the doorstep, offering tours and tea rooms. There's an adventure park in the grounds with features like the Pirates' Plunge log flume, Treasure Island Express miniature railway and other runs and rides. Campsite visitors get a 20 per cent discount on all tickets, and there are also special family rates for three days of camping, along with an annual pass to the adventure park. Outdoor enthusiasts enjoy the Great Western Greenway bike and pedestrian trail, which runs from Westport to Achill Island, passing magnificent scenery.

Free activities available on site include a recreation room, tennis, table tennis, pitch and putt, fishing, Pirates Den (soft play area), playground, sand pit, movie nights and teen disco at weekends. Pirate Adventure Park with a range of rides for children including the Pirates Plunge (log flume), Pirate Ship (thrills and chills ride); Treasure Island Express (miniature railway); Cannon Ball Run (slippery dip slide); swan pedalo boats and bouncy castle, Pik-a-Pot and Paint, outdoor adventure activities etc. Tours of house and entry to Pirate Park are charged.

New entrance to Caravan & Camping Park. Follow signs to N59 north to Achill/Newport, turn left at the Teagasc building onto the Golf Course Road. Westport House is the second left. Continue through estate following signs for camping.
