Westerly Lake is the ideal place to spend your holiday, or to use as a base for exploring the City of York, East Coast seaside towns, and the North York Moors National Park. All 20 touring pitches are hard standing, with grass for the awning area, and electric hook up.
This beautiful, natural looking lake was designed by the National Rivers Authority and being spring fed has superb water quality and an environment that is ideal for the large numbers of coarse fish that inhabit the lake. The lake is an outstanding silver fish fishery, and is stocked with roach, bream. tench, gudgeon, crucean carp, perch, and chub to over six pounds. There are large numbers of carp well into double figures, and both mirror and common carp to over twenty-seven pounds have been caught, and a grass carp of 22.5 pounds.
