Alan Rogers Review
The touring section of this park is beyond the rows of neat caravan holiday homes surrounded by flowers and shrubs. The entrance does not prepare you for the view which opens in front of you - 27 touring pitches set out on the banks of the River Avon with splendid vistas of the narrow boats on the river and of the weir itself. The park has 130 caravan holiday homes, plus eight caravans for hire. Pitches are clearly marked off the tarmac roads and all have 16A electricity. Units over 9 m. may have problems with access. A central barbecue/picnic area is provided beside the river.
There are no facilities for children within the park, although these exist nearby as the town centre of Evesham is only a few minutes walk. Visitors to the park should be aware of the close proximity to the river, but there is prominent signage and the necessary safety equipment provided. Altogether this is a gem of a park and advance booking is necessary most of the year.
Well kept toilet block includes provision for disabled visitors. Excellent laundry area. Barbecue area. Fishing is available (in season with the necessary licence obtainable from the park office). Dogs are not accepted.
