This peacefully located and spacious park, on the edge of Wareham Forest, has 200 pitches and is continually being upgraded by its enthusiastic owners, Tony and Sarah Birch. The focal point of the park is the modern reception and shop, located by the pools. Four main areas provide a wide choice of touring pitches from grass to hardstanding and luxury, all with 16A electricity. Tent campers have their own choice of open field or pinewood. The site has provided direct access for walkers into the forest or the seven miles of the Sika cycle trail may be used.
The lovely market town of Wareham is accessible by bike without having to use the roads. This park has an almost continental feel, with plenty of space. Even when it is busy, it is calm and peaceful in its forest setting. In low season you may be lucky enough to spot the herd of Sika deer which live in the forest. The park is well situated to explore the Dorset coast and Thomas Hardy country. A member of the Best of British group.
Facilities
Two well maintained toilet blocks are of a good standard with some washbasins in cubicles and several family bathrooms (one with baby bath). Main block was recently refurbished and both blocks are centrally heated. Accessible sanitary facilities, Well equipped laundry rooms. Motorhome services. Small licensed shop with gas. Swimming pool (60x20 ft, heated 20/5-15/9). Large adventure play area. Barrier closed 23.00-07.00. Resident wardens on site. Caravan storage. WiFi.

From A31 Bere Regis, follow A35 towards Poole for 0.5 miles and turn right where signed to Wareham. Drive for a further 1.5 miles. First park on the left as you enter forest.
