Verwood, New Forest Camping & Caravanning Club site is ideal for visits to Poole, Bournemouth. The seaside resorts of the south coast and the beautiful New Forest are all within easy reach of the site. Situated around seven miles west of the New Forest, Verwood offers a tranquil setting. You will not be short of things to do from this site. If you plan to explore the New Forest, head to Lyndhurst and the New Forest Centre and Museum. Two miles from here is the New Forest Reptile Centre, where you can see all of Britain’s reptiles in one place. The forest more than caters for walkers and cyclists with miles of way-marked tracks. Garden games can be played on the site’s front lawn. Crane Valley Golf Club offers green fee discounts by voucher during your stay. The site has 140 grass or hardstanding pitches (some seasonal). Most have an electric hook-up point. There are also 10 Safari tents for hire.

Beaulieu National Motor Museum, Palace House and Abbey, Bucklers Hard and the spectacular Exbury Gardens are popular days out from the site. Families will particularly enjoy Splashdown Water Park, Paultons Family Theme Park and the Moors Valley Country Park, including Go Ape. Just a sixteen-mile drive from the site delivers you to the sandy beaches of the Bournemouth and Poole area.

Directions to Verwood, New Forest Camping & Caravanning Club Site

From Salisbury on A354 turn left onto B3081 after 13 miles. Do not go into Cranbourne stay on B3081. Join B3078 for short distance then re-join B3081. The site is on the left a short distance after Sutton Holmes Nature Reserve. From London on M3/M27 join A31 towards Ringwood. Turn onto B3081 ¾ mile after passing junction with A338. Please note that when approaching from Verwood on B3081 the site is on the right-hand side opposite the Golf Club, do not confuse with West Farm site on the left. Do not follow Sat.Nav. directions.
