Alan Rogers Review

In a quiet, idyllic setting in the picturesque Rocky Valley, this small, neat, family run park is convenient for the Dublin ferries. Situated in the grounds of the family home, covering under an acre, it can be used either as a transit site or for a longer stay. It will appeal to those who prefer the small, certificated type of site. There are grassy pitches, eight hardstandings and a total of ten electricity hook-ups, a separate area for three tents, two water points, night lighting and a security gate. Staying here, you are only minutes from Enniskerry which lies in the glen of the Glencullen river.

You can enjoy a delight of forest walks, or visit Powerscourt, one of the loveliest gardens in Ireland, as well as the nearby Powerscourt waterfall. To reach the sea, travel 6 km. to Bray and you are in one of the oldest seaside resorts in the country.

Facilities

Sanitary facilities, clean when we visited, are housed in one very small unit and consist of two WCs with washbasins, mirrors, etc. and a shower (free). Laundry sink, spin dryer. Campers’ kitchen. Full cooked Irish breakfast in the family house.
