This is one of several coastal sites on the narrow strip of the Netherlands between Belgium and Breskens. Quickly reached from the ports of Ostend, Zeebrugge and Vlissingen, it offers the chance to enjoy the seaside and extensive network of cycle routes. A short walk across the quiet coast road and steps over the dyke brings you to the open, sandy beach. Many of the 595 pitches are taken by seasonal holiday caravans but there are separate areas for tourers in bays of four or six units surrounded by hedges, all with electricity (6A), water, drainage and cable TV connections.
Cars are not parked by units but in separate parking areas. An attraction is the central promenade complex that provides a super indoor heated pool with baby and children’s sections, jacuzzi, sauna, Turkish bath and solarium. It also includes a full restaurant and bar, a shop and the reception, plus for children, an entertainment room, play areas and an activity programme in high season. Pool, air hockey and electronic games are available for teenagers.
