Alan Rogers Review
Truro Caravan and Camping Park is family run and pleasantly landscaped with rockery plants and well manicured grass – first impressions of loving care are carried all through the park. The main, slightly sloping camping area is beautifully landscaped with trees, shrubs and heathers and the level, well spaced pitches have good views across the countryside. The 79 touring pitches have 10A electricity and 12 are fully serviced with level hardstanding and a gravel area for awnings. There are also 23 caravan holiday homes in a semi-separate area and a few seasonal places. There is a feeling of spaciousness, mainly because the enthusiastic owners do not try to fit in too many units.
Breathable groundsheets are welcome on the grassy pitches. A pub with good food and real ale is only 600 yards away and buses to Truro pass the gate. This site is a good place for the family that can amuse itself without the need for discos and gaming machines.
The central, very clean and well maintained toilet block can be heated and is supplemented by a small good second block. Some washbasins in cubicles. Family bathroom (50p). Well equipped laundry. Motorcaravan services. Shop for basics at reception, plus excellent maps. Adventure playground. Games field. Mini fun golf course. Winter caravan storage. WiFi throughout (charged).

From the A30 take A390 towards Truro. At the next roundabout turn right (signed Threemilestone) and, immediately at mini-roundabout, right again towards Chacewater. Park is 600 yds. on right past small business unit.
