Alan Rogers Review
Situated at Lac Lucerne, between a sports centre and a lakeside beach, Camping Buochs Vierwaldstättersee is an ideal site for relaxing in the sun and taking the occasional refreshing dip in the lake (50 metres away), or for venturing further afield to explore the beauty of the Swiss Plateau and the Alps. The 126 level pitches (94 for touring) have 8A electricity) but no shade. There is no restaurant, but campers may used a communal barbecue. There is plenty to do on site, hire of electric bikes allows you to take advantage of the numerous cycling routes nearby, and Lucerne is a short bus and train journey away.
Heated sanitary blocks with free hot showers, individual cabins and facilities for disabled visitors. Laundry facilities. Motorcaravan services. Basic supplies. Toddlers’ pool. Small play area. Bicycle hire. Internet access and WiFi (free).
