Alan Rogers Review
A small garden-like park tucked away at the back of Penzance, Bone Valley has three caravan holiday homes to let and 17 touring pitches. There is also room for a few tents tucked behind hedges and all is accessed by a circular roadway. The park is surrounded by tall trees with the fresh water in the small stream coming straight off the moors (good for keeping bottles cold). The philosophy of its owner can be summed up by his words, ‘use your common sense and there is no need for rules and regulations’. A bus leaves from the village every half hour to Penzance but it only takes about 25 minutes to walk.
Try the white sandy beaches and bright blue sea Penzance has to offer. At Penzance beachfront you'll find the best of restaurants, fresh fish straight from that day's catch, shops and ice cream stores. Arcades will keep the kids busy and there are bars so that the adults can have a drink. Locally you can head down to the coast for surfing and other water sports, get the bike out or just go for a walk along the Southwest Coast Path. Last but not least the famous Cornish pasties are right here.
The small toilet block is traditional in style, bright and cheerful with showers, washbasins and wc's. Laundry with Washing machine, dryer. Dish washing area. Chemical toilet point. Microwave. BBQ's allowed except electric. Reception carries some emergency supplies. Kettle. Welcome drink on arrival. Wi-Fi. Gas sales. Dogs allowed. Dog walk. Public Transport nearby.
Take the A30 from Penzance and at second roundabout take fourth exit signed Madron. Take fourth turn right into Joseph’s Lane signed Gulval, then next left signed Bone Valley. Park is 600 yds. on the left.Link to campsite location map on google
