Alan Rogers Review

A small, very attractive family run park tucked away in the beautiful Wiltshire countryside, yet with easy access to the A303 and Stonehenge. There are 15 pitches (11 for touring) laid out in three separate areas. The 13 nearest reception, in a garden setting, are for caravans and motorcaravans, all with 16A electricity and ten on hardstandings. The 20 pitches for tents and small motorcaravans are around the edge of two large open meadows, 12 have 16A electricity. There is plenty of room in the meadows for children and adults to play games. Those with caravans and motorcaravans should phone ahead for availability.

There are many marked walks and cycle routes close by, and two pubs and a village shop are within walking distance. This area of Wiltshire is well worth exploring, with Stonehenge, Longleat House, Bath and Salisbury all within easy reach by car. This park should appeal to those campers who are happy to entertain themselves. Here you can spend an evening around the fire pits, which are available for hire in the meadow sections. This area is well known for its wide range of wildlife, including red kites.
