Alan Rogers Review
Steamer Quay Caravan and Motorhome Club site is a pleasantly quiet, green and spacious holiday getaway, with serene pastoral views. It is just a short walk away from the bustling town of Totnes, for a wide choice of local pubs and restaurants. Totnes has been a significant port for many centuries and is perfect for a leisurely stroll along the banks of its busy river while taking in the historic atmosphere. The site has 43 grass pitches. Please note, none have Electric Hook Up.
While staying at Steamer Quay, you are within easy reach of the historic Guildhall and museum. The picturesque village of Dartington is only a short stroll away, and with beautiful gardens, outdoor theatre and a cinema, Dartington Hall is well worth a visit. The Tuesday Pannier market is a convenient location for a spot of shopping - the stallholders dress in traditional Elizabethan costume and sell a vast range of fresh local produce. Boat trips to the pretty harbour town of Dartmouth leave from the dock just across the road from Steamer Quay.
