Alan Rogers Review
Michael and Nancy Broadley own and run this good, modern, and quiet well-drained site just outside the lovely village of Martock. There are 27 touring pitches on grass including 2 hardstandings and 2 fully serviced all with a gravel access road, 22 with 10A electricity. It is an orderly, quiet park on two acres of flat, tree lined meadow near the River Parrett. Despite the rural setting, the A303 trunk road is just five minutes away making this a good stopover or for a longer stay to explore this very interesting area. Also, there is an on-site independent caravan repair/servicing centre.
This area of south Somerset contains much of interest, including gardens, historic houses and sites, the Fleet Air Arm Museum and Haynes Motor Museum. Information about access to many cycle routes and numerous walks, including the Parrett Trail, is available from reception. An interesting store of architectural and reclaimed building items is just opposite the site.
Facilities
One heated and well-maintained toilet block is fully equipped and includes some washbasins in cabins and free hot showers. Washing machine and dryer. New Café/coffee including a small area with local produce, local cider and beer. Play area. Fishing permits from reception. Enclosed dog exercise area. Caravan storage.
