Alan Rogers Review

This 90-acre site is really ideal for anglers, with four fishing lakes (coarse, carp and pike) and river fishing on the Trent. There are 130 pitches, of which 90 are for touring, all with 16A electricity connections. The remaining pitches are occupied by seasonal units. Non-anglers might choose this park if visiting antique fairs or events at nearby Newark Showground, or Newark town (1 mile) with its castle, air museum, National Civil War centre and various weekly markets. During your stay, you might visit Southwell Minster, Sherwood Forest, Clumber Park, Lincoln with its castle and cathedral, or Nottingham with its castle, caves and shopping centres.

Two heated toilet blocks (with keypad access) could be stretched in high season. Good unit for disabled visitors. Small shop with gas, soft drinks, dairy produce, etc. Newspapers can be ordered. On-site concessions for lake and river fishing. Entry barrier with key access. Security cameras and night-time height barrier (about 6 ft).
