Alan Rogers Review

The Attersee is the largest of a group of lakes just to the east of Salzburg, in the very attractive Salzkammergut area. Seecamping Gruber is a small, often crowded site halfway up the western side of the lake. There are 160 individual pitches, with an increasing number of seasonal units taking the larger pitches. There are some 70 pitches for tourers, all with 16A electricity and many with shade. Pitches tend to be small to medium size and the access roads are narrow making entrance and exit difficult.

Views across the large lake to the hills beyond can be enjoyed from the 25 metre swimming pool, the shallow children’s play pool with fountain (both heated to 26 degrees) and the surrounding sunbathing areas.
