Alan Rogers Review
Alisehof is a pleasant site quite high up in the heart of the Black Forest, about 20 km. from Freudenstadt. In an attractive, generally peaceful setting in a wooded valley (daytime noise from the adjacent saw-mill is possible) it is away from the main routes and big towns, with walks starting from the site. The 150 individually numbered pitches vary in size from moderate to quite large and all have electricity (16A). Arranged in rows on terraces (the slope is only steep towards the top), 110 pitches on the lower slopes are available for touring units. In high season there is an entertainment programme for children and organised walks for adults.
An excellent toilet block has family cabins for hire, facilities for disabled visitors, a separate section for children, and baby rooms. The original facilities in the main building are of very good quality, with a laundry and cooking hobs. Motorcaravan services. Shop (all year). Pleasant bar lounge in old farmhouse, open late evening. Beauty and fitness centre including sunbed. Playground. Fishing. Gas supplies.
