Alan Rogers Review of Saint Mabyn Holiday Park
The beaches of north Cornwall and the wilds of Bodmin Moor are all an easy drive from the site. The park has been extensively improved and is now carefully maintained by the Lloyd family and it provides a spacious and relaxed atmosphere. There are 110 level pitches, 97 with 16A electricity, on well drained and well mown grass with 50 hardstandings. There are caravan holiday homes and lodges to let. A nice, sheltered outdoor pool is an added attraction. Although there is no bar, the local village inn, one mile away, has a good reputation for food. The Camel Trail, which follows the River Camel, is only two miles away, providing a means to cycle or walk all the way to Bodmin, Wadebridge or Padstow.
Bodmin and Wadebridge are only five or six miles for supermarket shopping. It is also possible to telephone ‘Cor Link’ and they will arrange to transport you to the nearest bus route.
Facilities at Saint Mabyn Holiday Park
The fully equipped modern toilet block includes an en-suite unit per sex. A second, newly renovated block has family rooms and fully equipped accessible sanitary facilities, Indoor dishwashing area with fridge/freezer and microwave. Laundry. Outdoor wetsuit washing area. Heated outdoor swimming pool and paddling pool (late May-early Sept), surrounded by a sheltered, paved and grass sunbathing areas. Good, fenced adventure play area. Play area for small children. Games room. Caravan storage. WiFi over site.

From Bodmin or Wadebridge on A389, take B3266 north signed Camelford. At village of Longstone turn left signed St Mabyn and brown camping sign. Site is 400 yds. on right. Ignore all other signs to St Mabyn.
