Alan Rogers Review

Ross Park continues to impress us with the care and attention to detail and the amazing floral displays which are a feature of the park and must be seen to be appreciated. These are complemented by the use of a wide variety of shrubs which form hedging for most of the pitches to provide your own special plot, very much as on the continent. Every pitch has hardstanding and many have wonderful views over the surrounding countryside. All have 16A electricity. For those who prefer the more open style, one small area has been left unhedged. The park covers 32 acres but 21 acres are managed specifically as conservation areas providing a haven for wildlife which visitors can enjoy. The owners, Mark and Helen Lowe, are rightly proud of their park and strive to provide quality facilities and maintain standards. A member of the Best of British group.

The New Barn provides a comfortable lounge, a mezzanine bar with bar snacks and a restaurant with extra seating in the conservatory which is home to some exotic and colourful plants. An orchard area alive with daffodils in the spring and a conservation area with information on wild flowers and butterflies, and with extended views, completes these environmentally considered amenities. The kitchen garden provides vegetables for the restaurant and plants for the park. Musical entertainment is organised on Sundays in high season. This is a well cared for park worthy of consideration.
