Alan Rogers Review
Within walking distance of the unspoilt market town of Peebles, in the heart of the Scottish Borders, Rosetta Holiday Park is set on 50 acres in the grounds of a Georgian mansion. There are approximately 140 touring pitches, some on grass some hardstanding, all with electricity connections. They are screened from the permanent units by tall hedges and have lovely views of the Venlaw Hills. There is a bar and restaurant serving home-cooked food and breakfast is available. The strong point of Rosetta is its close proximity to Peebles, a historic town with a good range of independent shops, and the River Tweed - one of Scotland’s best rivers for salmon fishing.
Site is 0.5 miles north east of Peebles. From A72, follow campsite signs as you enter Peebles. Turn into Young St, then straight on to Rosetta Rd. Pass police station on right, then look out for park on left by lodge house.
