Alan Rogers Review

On the bank of the River Avon, this spacious site has 100 touring pitches (no tents) on grass, all with 10A electric hook-ups. A rally field has a further 60 pitches (30 with electricity). At the adjacent Rayford Park, which is under the same management, there is a bar and restaurant complex serving lunch and dinner, and breakfast in high season; club house facilities, including live entertainment, are available most weekends. There is a possible flood risk during periods of inclement weather. A river taxi runs to Stratford from the site. The site offers a choice of rental accommodation in camping pods, luxury lodges and caravans.

A mile and a half of free fishing on the River Avon (16 June to 16 March only) is available to campers. Perch, bream, roach, chub and pike are among the species in the river. A rod licence is required.

The heated sanitary block has been re-fitted to modern standards and is bright and comfortable with spacious showers and some washbasins in cubicles. Wet room style facilities for disabled visitors. Utility room with laundry facilities. Motorcaravan services. Play area. Minigolf. Slipway and fishing on-site. River taxi to Stratford. Gas supplies. No commercial vehicles are accepted. WiFi over site (charged).
