Alan Rogers Review
This small site with just 25 pitches is owned and run by Robert and Amanda Smith who have made major changes and improvements. It is particularly well sited for those travelling south on the non-motorway route from the Normandy ferry ports. The flat and level pitches are of a good size and all have 6A electricity. Bressuire, built in the shadow of the walls of an 11th and 13th century castle, is the second most important town in the department of Deux Sevres. There you will find an extensive range of shops, good supermarkets and an interesting market.
Local caves sell a variety of wines ‘en VRAC’, direct from stainless steel tanks at prices not to be missed.
The small toilet block provides showers, washbasins and WCs. Baby bath. Facilities for disabled visitors. Washing machine. Motorhome services. Bread can be ordered during July and August. Swimming pool (unheated). Bicycle hire. Free WiFi at reception area. Three chalets for hire.
